The power resistors product group, commercialised since Eleksan Ltd.'s establishement in 1970, is composed of 5 different types of resistors of the standard series and of custom designed resistors and resistor groups, designed and manufactured following customer requirements.
 

Despite advances in semi-conductor technology, power resistors are still used in a wide range of electrical applications such as test and measurement, electrical motor start and braking, power loading and galvanotechnical processes.
 

Eleksan Ltd.'s power resistor range of products are in comformity with DIN 41.475/6 standards and share similar dimensional and electrical characteristics with their international counterparts.  The 5 different power resistor  types of the standart series cover a power range of 5 to 3000W.
